1. (Abstract Noun) a speech sound made with the vocal cords vibrating, without any closure; a speech sound that is central to a syllable. যিবোৰ ধ্বনিৰ উচ্চাৰণত হাওঁফাওঁৰ পৰা বায়ু বিনা বাধাই ওলাই আহে, স্বৰতন্ত্ৰী সঞ্চালিত হয় আৰু যিবোৰ ধ্বনিয়ে একোটা syllableৰ মূখ্য অংশৰূপে কাম কৰিব পাৰে৷
