1. (Proper Noun-Neuter) a village in Ahmednagar district of Maharastra. Perhaps, this is the only village in India where people do not use locks at their houses, offices, shops and even in bank. Their presiding deity is lord soni and people believe that any crime there would irritate him and the village would ruin. There is no crime record there for last three hundred years. মহাৰাষ্ট্ৰৰ আহমদনগৰ জিলাৰ সোণাই অঞ্চলৰ এখন গাওঁ৷ইয়াৰ বিশেষত্ব হৈছে এই গাওঁৰ কোনো ঘৰ, দোকান-পোহাৰ, কাৰ্যালয়, আনকি বেংকতো দুৱাৰ-খিৰিকী, বাকচ আদি কতো তলা লগোৱাৰ ব্যৱস্থা নাই৷যোৱা তিনিশবছৰৰো অধিক কাল ইয়াত কোনো ধৰণৰ চুৰি ডকাইতি আদি হোৱা নাই৷গাওঁখনৰ আৰাধ্য দেৱতা শনি আৰু চুৰি-তাৰি বা আন কিবা অপৰাধ কৰিলে তেওঁৰ ৰোষত পৰিব বুলি ভবা জনবিশ্বাসৰ বাবে ই অপৰাধমুক্ত অঞ্চল হৈ আছে৷ বোধহয় ভাৰতৰ একমাত্ৰ অঞ্চল য’ত বেংকতো তলা লগোৱা নহয়৷
