1. (Common Noun-Common &/or Masculine) people living on the sides of a river. In Assam this term refers to people living on the banks of the river Brahmaputra, i.e Brahmaputra valley. লুইতৰ পাৰৰ, পাৰত বাস কৰা লোক৷ অসমত লুইত পৰীয়া বুলিলে সাধাৰণতে বৰ লুইতৰ (ব্ৰহ্মপুত্ৰৰ) পাৰৰ অৰ্থাৎ ব্ৰহ্মপুত্ৰ উপত্যকাৰৰ লোকক বুজোৱা হয়৷
