1. (Common Noun) A Shrub with small soft flowers. It is used to drive away flies from the domestic cows in the first day (Goru Bihu) of Rongali Bihu as per Assamese tradition. Genus: Flemingia, Family: Fabaceae (alt. Leguminosae) এবিধ সৰু চিয়াঁ চিয়াঁ ফুল থকা গছ৷ গৰু বিহুৰ দিনা সন্ধিয়া জাগত দিয়াৰ লগতে বছেৰেকলৈ ডাঁহ আৰু মাখিৰ পৰা ৰক্ষা পাবলৈ ইয়াৰে গৰুক কোবোৱা হয়৷ সেয়ে ইয়াৰ নাম মাখিয়তী৷
