1. (Proper Noun) one of the tourist destinations in the state of Meghalaya. It is located about 60 km from Shillong. This region was previously recognized as the highest rainfall region in the world. However, only the nearby place of Mouchinram is now recognized as the highest rainfall in the world. মেঘালয়ৰ এখন চহৰৰ নাম৷ পূৰ্বতে ই বিশ্বৰ সৰ্বাধিক বৰষুন হোৱা ঠাই বুলি প্ৰসিদ্ধ আছিল৷
