1. Language-Linguistics(Abstract Noun) A concept coined by Freud and popularised by French philosopher Althusser. It means that different structures come together to determine a situation and no single structure is capable on it`s own to effect the resultant determination. This concept was developed as a further advancement of the notion of dialectics and contradiction.
